The History of the Mysterious Ducks on Campus 🦆

Their First Appearance

It was during a late night near the end of the Spring 2022 semester that the UMW finals ducks first appeared. They came late in the night, shrouded by darkness. They were found by students and professors alike.

The Return

The next year the ducks once again returned. This time even more people discovered ducks, which they took into their caring arms. Once more this was done by professors and students alike.

One intersting thing to note was this year the library even noticed the increased ducks in the building. (The library has always had ducks inside of it’s grand stone walls. They have been trapped there since the dawn of time.)

The Future

When considering the future it’s hard to say anything for certain since the future is not set in stone. However, rumor has it that there will be more ducks again this finals week…
